Are you talking about the column inside the car? Or the rack under the car?

inside the car when you try to pull the steering wheel down to drive. Mine is automatice and moves getting in and out when you put the key in the ignition. Now it is acting slow or not really working.

This is a known problem and Infinity put out a technical service bulletin about it, it is also a complicated repair, and dealer service is recommened. The part # you need is 48950-CL00A
