My temperature gauge and don’t work working coolant gauge sits a cold. I replaced the cylinder head temperature sensor and now I have no check engine light on but still no coolant gauge or A/C?

The P1289 and P1289 codes you mentioned are related to the Ford OBD-II diagnostic system and refer to a problem with the cylinder head temperature sensor. Specifically, P1289 is related to the cylinder head temperature sensor signal being out of the expected range, and P1289 is a manufacturer-specific code for the same issue. So, since you already replaced the cylinder head temperature sensor and there is no code for the circuit it sounds like the PCM has gone bad which will make the temperature gauge and A/C not to work. Here is the location of the PCM so you can send it in to be checked. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Thank you, I will let you know what I find out. Also don't know if this helps at all but after turning off the vehicle and turning it back on the temperature gauge reads normal then drops to c after a minute or two and gets the p1289 code again.

Yep, it sounds like the driver that monitors the temperature gauge process is failing and needs to be reset to start working for a short time.
