What should I look to fix concerning lifters and oil pressure?

I have some tapping on my initial crank up, then it stops in about a minute...I was suggested to get my lifters and oil pressure checked.... Waht do you suggest?

Same thing. Change your oil a little more frequently and use the correct weight oil.

Substitute a qt.of Marvel Mystery Oil, in place of a qt. of oil next oil change. MMO cleans parts, and makes things seal off, as they should. Read the directions. It works both in your oil and with your fuel too! See some of these in this link

Mechanical wear, as well as "build-up" can keep your Tappets (hydraulic lifters) from sealing correctly.
