The car hast started since Friday and it's now Monday, there is no noise when I turn the key, all the lights radio etc come on as norm but now the engine management lights on, can you help me? I cleaned 2 earths on the wing beside the battery and the two beside the air box, and I cleaned the highest lead on the starter and as I was unscrewing the nut on the starter the spanner touched the metal of a radiator hose and sparked.

Id call the dealer and ask about the antitheft and how to reset it if possible. Id also check the ignition switch as saabs are notorious for this. Turn the ignition on and jump across the two big cable lugs on the starter with a screwdriver or piece of metal. If it turns over you know that its the start circuit. Check ALL fuses first
