I have a 2004 Isuzu Axiom and just recently, the car has started feeling like its misfiring. We just had the oil flushed and changed, new oil filter. Just put brand new spark plugs in (and yes, they're gapped right, double checked) and the check engine light still reads "cylinder 2 and 6 misfire." I was wondering if replacing the cylinder 2 and 6 coilpacks would possibly do the trick? The problem started before the new sparkplugs were put in, but it was no where near as bad as the engine seems like its misfiring now.

Try swapping the coil packs with other cylinders to test if the misfiring migrates to confirm if it is the coil packs that are faulty.

If misfiring remains, get a compression test done to check if they are within specs.

Is all are good, try swapping the injectors.
