my truck every so often acts like the power steering does not work. when other times it does work. What could this problem be?

I have had the power steering pump replaced in my 05 canyon twice in one year and now it is starting to go out again. NAPA has a 6mo warrenty or whatever but it still is a pain to have to keep bringing it in....

You might try some better quality parts. Napa stuff has gone down hill pretty bad recently. Most of the reman stuff being sold now is substandard.
