Glow plug problem

I have the same problem with mick1885 about the frequent busted of my 4 glow plug of everest 2004. The new one after replacement will last only for 2 to 3 weeks, I have check the relay and controller and it is ok. Can I ask for the feedback of mick1885 for the solution of his problem ? which is also the same with mine.

He did not come back with any solution.

Maybe you should try using a different make of glow plugs.

Thank you for your immediate reply, anyway can I ask what is the specification of the glow plug for ford everest 2004 and what brand do you recommend? Is it 12 volts or 11 volts?

Since it has the tendency to burn off, I would suggest 12 volt, if you can get them. Most of them are 11.8 volts if I am not wrong.

OEM would be the best choice but they are pricey. I usually use Japanese makes, any would do.
