You rebuilt an electric fuel pump?

Is there fuel pressure at the rail?

I bought the rebuild kit on ebay from a auto part suppler in Cal. And rebuilt the fuel pump -I have 12volts to the pump but it wont run

I had pressure till I took the lines off the pump--pump doesnt run so the fuel rail shouldnt be pressurized
Am I right?

It could have some pressure in it. If you have power to the pump, chances are it is bad. Check to make sure all connections are good, clean, and tight. Make sure the ground is good too.
