2004E-350super cargo 6.0 Turbo Diesel Is there a part I could replace to correct problem? Between jobs must try to repair myself. Waiting for pay to buy parts.

Engine cuts out on take off. Must accelerate slowly with some sputtering. To slow for traffic safety. I treated fuel with Sea Foam 1 oz. Per. Gal. After 16 gals. Added more fuel. No idiot lights have come on at an time, not even service engine.

You need a shop that caters to diesels that can check the fuel pressure. It sounds lke the high pressure pump may be failing but you need to confirm.

Thank you for Submitting my question for free! I tried other sites claiming to be FREE. They would not even submit my question unless I pay $38.00 first. Classic bait & switch = False advertisement!

Sorry, high pressure pump. Get it confirmed first. Dont throw any parts at it till oyu have a conformation. Also, I recommed ford parts only. Lots of issues with aftermarkets.
