When the car sits over night and you go to try and start it it turns over but won't start. Sometimes it stars right up and sometimes it may take up to 3 or 4 trys before it kicks in. When it does finally start it runs rough for a couple seconds then it is fine.

Start by checking the fuel pressure with a gauge to rule out the fuel filter and fuel pump

Fuel ok gauge reads ok only starts rough when seating for a while misfires for a few seconds and after that is ok, cyl heads were replaced due to coolant and misfire in # 5 so there is no problem with the valves
