2004 buick lesabre has a dead battery. I used jumper cables and still didn't start. Is it my battery or starter?

The first thing your going to have to do is take your battery to habe it charged and tested at the auto parts store. If the battery is bad get a new one. Also make sure your battery cables are clean and tight. Thats where we need to start. Also do you have a multimeter to do some testing?
