Have a 2003 volkswagen beetle w/2.8 that starts and stalls. Will start up and stall out and the exhaust smells of gas with blue smoke. Hooked a scan tool to it and found no codes. Checked the Pids and found that they is two Pids for the TPS%; one is at zero and will go up to 100% when the gas pedel is press all the way down and the second one is sometime at 15.7 or 17.5 without touching the gas pedel but will also go to 100% when the gas pedel is push all the way down. Also found that the calulated engine load PID is at 100% all the time. And all of these are with the key on and engine off. Does anyone have any info on this. Thank you

Disconnected the battery for 10 minutes and reconnected the battery and it runs fine! Still don't know why it was stalling?
