SAAB 9-3 Starter Problem
Where is the starter motor located. The instructions seem to indicate I can replace from top of car but I don't see the starter.

Remove the battery cover.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Raise the car.
Disconnect the starter motor connecting cables.
Remove the starter motor retaining bolts.
Lower the starter motor and lift it out.
To Fit
Lift the starter motor into place.
Fit the starter motor retaining bolts. Tightening torque 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.)
Clean, apply Vaseline and connect the starter motor connecting cables.
Lower the car to the floor.
Connect the negative cable of the battery.
Fit the battery cover.
Reset the car; see Procedure after battery disconnection.
