2003 Renault Laguna stallingand warnimg light

When cold and occasionally when warm the car could stall as slow down. Starts sraight away afterwards.
Also when driving along the red stop light and red handbrake light comes on sometimes stays on for a minute or so then goes off. Then goes on /off. On / off. But could stayof for awhile.L would appreciate all help and advice please. Thank you. Steve (lagunasteve)

Steve:

Make sure the brake fluid is full. If it is low, the light could come on as you described. As for the stalling, has the check engine light come on? Have you checked for engine vacuum leaks? Have you checked the operation of the idle air control valve (IAC)? The IAC is what maintains the engine idle speed.

My guess is that you either have a vacuum leak or the IAC isn't working properly.

Gentlemen.. Thsnk uou for your help and advice ref my laguna problems.I had the IAC Cleaned and sprayed. It now works perfectly and topped up the brske fluid and that fault was solved.
