What kind of rear catalytic converter do i need for a 4cyl 2.5l
A friend is working on the car and said we need a catalytic converter, but online there are lots of types. He did say it was a rear one, but we are unsure.

Your best bet is to just take the car to an exhaust specialist. They can diagnose and install a converter for less money than you can get it done and do a much better job.
