I have 2003 lancer put 2 new alternator on it. The belt is not loose NEW BELT. AT 1 RPM ALTERNATOR READS 12 AT 3RPM ITS FINE 14. NOT CHARGING. HELP

If you have any abnormal squeaking noise, check the harmonic damper on crankshaft pulley ( if equipped).

If the alternators are reman, I would not discount the possibility of them being bad.

When you have 12 volts at idle, the charging is too low, it should read at least 13 volts.
