I don't know where anything for the EVAP emission control system?

I don't know where anything for the evap emission control system are located. I need to pass smog, and I don't have money for a mechanic. I'm pretty smart so if I can just locate the parts for this system I can look around for any cracks or loose ends. I'm also bot sure about the charcoal canister, where its located and when to change it.

Hello,

The evaporative control system consists of the fuel tank, fuel filler cap, evaporative emissions canister, canister close valve, purge solenoid, fuel tank pressure sensor.

Issue with any of these components can trigger the check engine light for the emission system.

Do you know what error code(s) that you have for the EVAP system?
Knowing the code can help narrow down the search and make it easier to find the issue.
