IF YOU AIN'T MONKEYED WITH ADJUSTMENTS (BAD THING---THESE ARE PRESET SO THE COMPUTER KNOWS "ZERO" FOR THE PARTS AND THEIR MOVEMENTS)

MY ENCOUNTER WITH WIFEY'S ESCAPE

https://www.2carpros.com/questions/2005-ford-escape-rough-idle-at-low-rpm

REMEMBER.......WAS THIS THE CORRECT IAC?..........IS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON WHILE IT'S RUNNING??? (IF SO, LET'S STOP HERE, AND DISCUSS THAT).............EVEN NEW STUFF CAN BE BAD!

THIS SHOULD COST YOU NOTHING---TRY IT, BEFORE YOU MESS WITH STUFF

TAKE A BATTERY CABLE OFF OF THE BATTERY---WAIT 10 MINUTES RECONNECT IT--MAY RESET THE COMPUTER

I DON'T KNOW IF YOURS HAS A "IDLE RELEARN PROCEDURE"

I HAVE HEARD, ON OTHER RIGS, FIND YOU A LONG STRETCH OF ROAD---NO ONE BEHIND YOU--GET UP TO 55 MPH--LET GO OF THE GAS PEDAL---"COAST IT" FOR 30 SECONDS

"YOU TUBE" MAY BE GOOD PLACE TO LOOK

I THINK A REPAIR MANUAL MIGHT BE MORE "SET IN STONE"

https://www.2carpros.com/questions/2007-ford-taurus-tune-up

LET ME KNOW HOW IT GOES
