I know when you take a battery cable off negative or positive as long as I know there should not be any kind of spark. So are these newer cars different these days because this focus as long as I know if you take either cable off when you put it back on it will have a spark so what is it the alarm making it spark or what because it does not have a drainage of any voltage or anything, so what is different?

That is completely normal. All newer vehicles have numerous control modules in the system that are activated when the power is first connected. Most all will go to sleep once the power has been connected for a few minutes.
