I was driving and my truck started jerking like it had a miss. I got home and it had a wide range of idle speeds. I noticed it was also burning oil and I have no brakes at low rpm, like there's not enough vacuum. I drove it to the local parts store and got them to use the code reader and it said misfire on cylinders 1, 2, 5, 7, and 8. It also said mass airflow sensor and idle air control.

Check for a vacuum leak then if none have a pro fix it misfires are very hard to diagnose can be sensor problem or any other thing saves you aggravation as well as cheaper due to not replacing unneeded parts
