Excessive smoke when starting car and overheating
When I start my 2003 DTS Cadillac there is a lot of smoke coming from the exhaust and the car over heats !!! There are 146,000 miles and this problem just started over the weekend

sounds like you have head gasket issues. cant overheat these motors without causing damage.
with the mileage, i would suggest replacing the motor.
