I was at a stop light today and engine sound started to pulse like it had a low idle. I began to drive and it started to drive odd. As I was driving car shifted weird or stuttered. Then computer screen reads engine speed/power reduced and the car only drove like 5 mph no matter how much gas was given. I pulled over and restarted car. It went back to driving ok except when coming to a stop. Slowing down under 20 its either downshifts weird or stutters a bit like there is a problem. Any info on this is much appreciated.
Thank you

Scan for codes and clean throttle plate on both sides with choke cleaner and iac hole. Auto parts may be able to scan it otherwise a pro may have to.

I am leaning toward the throttle body. I see 2 available at places. One that is $100 and says "may need to do relearn process" and the other is $250 but no relearn. Why does one say it and one doesnt? Will I have to do it on both?

With all thcodes you are getting check battery for condition as a low battery can do this. Check for condition including load test. Then clear codes an drescan see if they all com eup again.

Scan from auto zone:
p1779, p1795, p0161, p0160, p0700

what I find from this is 1779 is tcm
1795 is throttle position sensor,
0161 & 0160 is o2 sensors
0700 is more tcm?

While looking these up I come across ppl saying to replace throttle body. Also ppl try all these things and find that nothing is working. Idk. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked the battery for condition like I said and tried cleaning throttle plate on both sides and iac hole with choke cleaner? 700 is a trans code 160 and 162 are the same heater so it can be a broken wire, connection or bad O2 sensor. It's bank 2 behind converter which would be pass side. You may have the 700 codes from other codes. A pro shold ook at the car if the 1779 stays as tcm and ecm have a torque signal problem.

Battery is pretty new like 6 months or less. I cleaned throttle body.

(160 and 162 are the same heater so it can be a broken wire, connection or bad O2 sensor.) Did you mean seat heater or same heater? Also its a sensor for heater or O2? These are way two other things. The car keeps dying usually at idle, so ill replace the o2 sensor that you say it could be.

Also if I replace o2 sensor, is it a plug and play or do I need to get Cadillac to program them too?

All sensor are just remove and replace same with throttle body normally the only thing that needs a pro are modules and gas pedals. Make sure O2 sensor has anti-seize on the threads.
