Need to know if it safe to drive within 2 hours of replacing the oil pan using high temp silicone gasket maker or do I need to wait for a specific amount of time?

Personally I wouldnt drive it for atleast 4 hrs. Normal rtv is kinda thin and may leak if not allowed to dry adequately. However, if you used a gasket maker such as permatex "the rite stuff" (thats really what its called) then you maybeable to drive in as little as 1hr.
