Loud noise
I hear a loud knocking sound coming from the rear end of my 02 mountioneer everyonce in awhile.

Check to make sure the differential fluid is full and clean. Check to make sure nothing is loose such as the exhaust system (could bounce and hit frame) and other components such as the sway bar.
