Ive recently had a new rack and pinion done on my car. My car is still leaking powersteering fluid. $500 later he said that it was leaking from the Sensor. I don't know what kind of sensor to buy. I think he said it was coming from the sensor on the hose line. Can you help me understand this.

The sensor he is referring to is the PS pressure switch. It is most likely mounted on the high pressure side of the pump or hose. Its purpose is to tell the computer when added assist is needed. As a result, the engine idle speed increases to accommodate the need.
