Jeep Grand Cherokee Door Problem
2002 Grand Jeep Cherokee,passenger rear window has dropped no sign of broken glass, took door panel off motor still works but steel cable is slack and top of cable is not secured as can be seen through top of door panel is this the regulator cable and can this be fixed or is it a new complete system, thanks.

Normally the regulator is replaced as an assembly, however, if the slack cable is not frayed and is caused by a broken plastic wheel, I would head to a "pick-your-own-parts" salvage yard to get just that wheel. You can check at the dealer for repair parts, but as of '99 when I left, they were not available separately although that design had only been out a few years.
