my car wont start

I have a 2002 Isuzu rodeo I replaced the engine wiring harness and now my car won't start I though it was my starter so I replaced that and it still didn't start I then replaced my starter rely and it still didn't start. I don't know what else to do I was told that the computer might need to be reset because I disconnected the battery and my car might be in some kind of stop mode. Everything thing works when I turn the key but it want start it want make a sound can you please help me.

Could be the starter relay, transmission range switch and ignition switch-make sure the battery and connections are good-

So resting the computer wouldn't have anything to do with it? And what is the transmission range switch

Did you ever find a solution to the Trooper not starting? I have the same problem right now and figure it has to do with the security system after replacing the engine and battery. thank you for your time.

Is the alarm light flashing will you try to start the car? if not the alarm is not engaged.
