I have a 2002 ford wndstar se. When it gets hot out side and we drive a long ways the trans well leak all its fluid out the main seal? If it below 90 out or we drive short distence it doesnt leak. Were is the vent tube on the trans? I think its pluged

Does that have a radiator cooler or a separate 1? Maybe a bigger cooler or change from radiator to external would solve the issue? Did you find a vent? Was it plugged? Windstar transmissions in general do not get high marks!
