Is it common for a radio control unit to be bad in a ford taurus?Had an aftermarket radio now going back to factory, got the module from a salvage yard and I know the radio works.

What happened to the OEM radio originally? Was the display the problem? If that was the case, yes it is common. Other than that, no real issues.

Nothing just got rid of all of it after I put my aftermarket in now I had to buy the factory stuff, the radio works cause I tried it in another taurus, and fuses looked good so was just wondering if the control unit could be bad?
