02 plate, driving down road car coughed splutterd then cut out, been in a local garage now for 2 1/2 months, its had a new fuel pump, crank sensor, then the garage thought it was the icu unit, now they think it is an electrical fault. car was r

but they had it running with etha engine start,

Check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter and fuel pump.
