Hi there I have a ford fiesta zetec 2002, the radio hasnt a signal, the cd player works fine but no signal for the radio I have tried retuning the radio but its not picking up any local radio stations, I took it to a local garage audio experts and they said ide be cheaper buying a new car than replacing the radio, is this true or have they fobbed me off. Also I cant seem to get access to te radio. Please help. Thanks andy.

If both AM and FM are tuning on the display, suspect an antenna problem. You will also have normal static / buzzing on AM. If there's no sound at all on AM or FM, that is a radio problem.

Look for four small holes on the sides of the face plate. If you have those, special tools are needed to pull the radio out. Otherwise the front trim panel will typically snap off if you pull on it, then there will be screws holding the radio in.
