My truck wont start. the battery is not dead. It makes a grinding noise before you start it.

IF YOU MEAN--IT GRINDS WHEN YOU ATTEMPT TO START IT---IT MAYBE A STARTER--SHIM--OR FLYWHEEL PROBLEM
