2002 Excursion V10 ABS LIGHT ON RADIO FLICKERS TRUCK STALLS WHEN STOPPED NEEDS JUMP FOR RESTARTING
2002 Excursion v6 10 cylinder : abs light comes on radio dims then blacks out and then dash lights shut off...come to a stoplight and truck stalls...won't kick over and need a jump start to get the truck running. as long as I don't stop after the jump the truck stays running. Also , there is a smell reminds me of electrical. Is it the alternator or a sensor? There has been corrosion on the one terminal. Battery was just replaced 2 weeks ago and has been fine for 2 weeks. Problem has resurfaced its ugly head.

If you had corrossion on one of the terminals mix up some baking soda and water and soak the terminal end in it for about ten mins then clean it with a battery brush. Then have the alternator tested sounds like its failing.
