4x4 transfer case will not disengage
I have replaced the t-case motor with no success. I understand the issue may now be either one of two relays or the GEM. Unfortunately, I don't know if those actually are my next steps nor do I know how to inspect them.

I recommend you schedule an appointment with your Ford service provider. Spending time and money on a problem that could be software related is not getting you anywhere.
