Hi, I have a 2002 Ford Escort ZX2, I just got back from the shop and they told me I need to replace my AC Control Switch. I don't want to pay the ridiculous price for them to fix it, I'd rather do it alone. Do you know where it's located/any instructions on how to go about doing it? Or is this one best left to the professionals?

There is nothing by that name. You need to be more specific.

That's what the guy at the shop told me it was called. I have no knowledge about cars and I have no idea what it would be. I just paid to get my CCRM replaced and it cost me a fortune. After they fixed it they told me there was a problem. When I turn my ****s inside my car to AC or Max AC they blow normal air however when I turn my ****s to a non-airconditioned setting they blow out the airconditioned air.

They may have meant "Control head" which would be the main control in the dash. The labor is minimal. It's the parts that costs if that's the case.
