Need some knowledge on Dodge Ram 2500 rear bearing

Rear axle bearing noisy. Need to know what is under the cap on the axle at the rotor. What parts need to be remove to replace bearing

Does the axle unbolt with the 6 or 8 bolts?? if it does, then the wheel bearing are under it

Thanks for quick reply back. It is an 8 bolt Does the axle have to slide out of the axle housing, to change bearing. Is there C clips in the differential Do you know where I can find break down picture? Thanks again

Yes, the axle comes out. There is a locking washer, collar and inner washer that has to come off to release the hub. If the bearing is bad, you need inner bearing, outer bearing and races. The seal will have to be replaced as well. The races have to be pressed into the hub.
