Hello,

Swapping rear axle assembly on my 1500. Have truck up on jack stands, wheels are off. I know how to take brakes off of axle.

What I need to know is how to take brake hoses system off the axle assembly? Is there a diagram available? I am keeping the original brake system and just swapping rear axle assembly.

Thanks

There are three different axles and some of the instructions may be to much to copy/paste. There are no pictures of brake lines and routing so I suggest taking a picture of it prior to starting.

Unless those lines are in perfect shape you would be better off replacing them. They rust internally and the rubber lines decay. If no, the lines are usually clipped into brackets with the center rubber lines attached to a bracket at the pumpkin. If you have rear discs the outer lines will also bolt on. Should be similar to this.
