I put a new transmission in my truck and now it won't start, it turns over, but no spark. The battery cable was unhooked for 2 days. How do you reset the ECM?

Even with the battery being unhooked the truck should start, there is no ecm reset, I am assuming that the truck ran fine before trans replacement? If this is the 5.9L, the crankshaft sensor on this is located at the right rear top of the engine block and is easily damaged during trans/or engine removal, if you have no spark, no pulse I would check that sensor and its wiring for damage. Let me know
