Noisy motor

2002 dodge durango RT 5.9L tapping noise from backside of motor. you can hear it in the bottom of the oil pan and also in the distributor when using a stethoscope. oil pressure is low at an idle. could it be oil pump going out or distributor shaft?

i would bet on a cracked flywheel. it is a plate on the back of the motor joininh the engine to the transmission.
