Temperature gauge

After I change the water pump, Temperature gauge is not working. When I switch on the ignition, its working well but after few seconds, the gauge goes down.

Maybe air in the system? Check the coolant temp sensor. Any applicable trouble codes?

No applicable trouble codes. Its all normal but everytime I start the vehicle, the gauge is working well but for few seconds only.I attached 1 picture showing the gauge which is not working. Thanks a lot. Hope you'll help me.

Nice job with the picture. The temp gage defaults to 160 degrees or less.
1, the pcm detects a problem with coolant temp sensor/circuit.
2, the instrument panel cluster loses class 2 communication with the pcm.

Check the coolant temp sensor and circuits.

Thanks for the compliment.I didnt use my vehicle from march 11 coz I dont want to make more problem but lucky me, it solved my car problem coz like I mentioned before, I changed the water pump and "i think" the system format automatically so now its working well right now. Thanks for the time, really appreciate it.
