2002 Chevrolet Suburban Repair Question

My chevy 1500ltd stalls when eccellerating from low to higher speed in stop and go traffic.no problems on main highways,good speed pickup.
My 2002 Chevy Suburban 1500 4WD stalls when accellerating from low to high speed in stop and go traffic.No problems noticed once at high speed on main highways,good non hesitating pick-up.

I went to my chevy dealer and they found a totaly plugged fuel filter and a dirty airfilter. Both were replaced.
