Hi, I got a 2002 chevy Silverado 1500 4x4. Yesterday, my font diff started to hum. I check the hubs and U-joints and there fine. I am preety sure its a bearing, but not sure where. I am thinking it is probally the bearings inside the front diff. If I put the truck in 2 HI there is no sound. What do you think?

You are most likely right, but just to make sure that the driveline is not missing any weights or anything. Also, check the u-joints very carefully again. You don't want to get into the diff just to find out that it is fine.
