28 ounces of R-134a refridgerent/ Did the compressor come shipped with oil in it, if so follow the directions on how much oil to use, the compressor should have come with detailed instructions?

The compressor did not say anything about if it was shipped with oil or not.

Take the old compressor, find a suitable container and dump the oil out of the old unit into container, measure it, if 1 ounce oil drains out, add 2 ounces new oil to new compressor, if it 2 ounces or more drain out, add that amount of new oil (not the old stuff) to system. Use PAG oil.
