How much is my '02 Chevy Cavalier worth? (needs engine)
I have an '02 Chevy Cavalier LS Sport Sedan that needs a new engine. I've gotten so many different answers from mechanics I don't know what's accurate.
What's an accurate estimate for a brand new engine?
for a rebuilt engine?

It varies with location-What is wrong with the engine that you need a new one?

Well, I was told that the engine is not a non-interference engine. So when the timing chain broke it caused irreparable damage to the engine.

Major damage on what? A 2.2L engine is not an interference engine-best seek more advices before you decide to replace it-
