2002 Cadillac EXT TRANSMISSION LEAK, WHAT IS COST OF SEAL(S) REPLACEMENT?

Started small leak near front, ONLY WHEN TRUCK SITS OVERNIGHT ! Read the TCC solenoid was cause, but anticipating the cost of multiple problems. No shifting problems !

The tcc solenoid is internal and does not leak outside the trans.
It could be several seals and all of them are easy enough to replace. Get the exact seal failure and we can give you an idea for the replacement.

This may be the shaft seal. Cheap only problem the trans and the conveter needs to be removed to replace it. Call around and get a price on a reseal and trans. Service. Unless its a simple exterior seal. Get it checked like ase said.

Resealing of the front pump should resolve the issue. The parts needed will be a torque converter hub seal, turbine shaft o-ring, pump to case paper gasket, pump to case seal(wedge?), Trans pan gasket(or filter kit), and either 7 pump bolt o-rings, or pump bolts that will come with o-rings. Maybe 100-150 in parts plus fluid, and I usually get about 6.5 hours of labor. All in all, about 750-900 if that is it.
