2002 BMW X5 Repair Question

Heard some craking sound when brake is applied in x5 2002. The faulty ABS sensor has been replaced and any time it's craking the ABS/ASC light light-up on the dash board."
Cleared asc/abs light on dash board,replaced the faulty abs/asc sensor and faulty brake sensor.

The noise description does not ring any bell. Can you please elaborate?

The noise is like DRAGGING of metals.

Check the rotors, brake pads and backing plates.
