I have a 2001 Volkswagen
jetta, v6. Everything seemed good when I
drove it out, got to my destination, wanted to restart nd my car won't start. Its a new battery, the starter is relatively new. Dont knw wht d problem might be. Any ideas?

Have the battery charged and tested first.

Does the engine turn over?

If yes, have someone tap on the bottom of the gas tank with the palm of their hand while you crank the engine.

Could be a fuel pump that is stuck.

Could also be a bad engine speed sensor (crankshaft position sensor). They start to fail when they get hot. Might re-start after it has cooled down.
