car turns over but wont start?

We get fuel to the rail and have good spark. What could be the problem and how do IO check it?

Check if the injector/s are pulsing-also check fuel pressure. When you turn the key to the on position without cranking the engine over can you hear the fuel pump run in the tank for 5 seconds?
