car won't start. the engine turns strong.. but after i stop turning the key the engine acts like i only turned the key for half a sec and makes a die noise... i don't have barley any money so right now i took the plugs out they look pretty burnt up. i am gonna take some sandpaper to them to clean them up a little.. its a stick shift truck. i'v already had someone turn the key while my ear is next to the gas door and i hear humming when the key gets turned to the on position... next will be the fuel filter... please if you have any ideas could you let me know something.. i know it could be anything... i pray its not the timing belt

Check to make sure you are getting proper fuel pump pressure and check to make sure the spark to the plugs is a hot blue snapping spark. Honestly, if the plugs are that worn, cleaning them won't help too much. If you need directions, refer to our home page under the DIY section.
