CAR REVVING TO 4000RPM ON ITS OWN. WHAT COUD THE PROBLEM BE?

2001 Nissan Almera • 119,000 miles

I have changed the trottle body, the air flow sensor and the idle air flow meter. This has not fixed the problem. Any idea what else could it be. Only changed the idle air flow meter today. Drove it for a while and it seemed fine but when I went to drive it again it revved up again.
